Campaign for a Sound Future
Chicago Public Radio seeks the support of our entire community and an investment of $15 million to broaden, deepen and transform our service to the region. As of Summer 2009, thanks to the support of over 140 generous, visionary friends, we have raised more than $12.4 million in philanthropic contributions toward this ambitious campaign.

The Campaign for a Sound Future will ensure that Chicago Public Radio has the resources needed to:
  • CREATE high-quality programming for two 24-hour services carrying news, public affairs, music, performance, entertainment, and more.
  • EXPAND our technological, creative, and reporting capacity with state-of-the-art production facilities and digital satellite equipment for direct global connections.
  • BUILD the facilities to house our increasingly vital activities and implement Chicago Public Radio’s strategic plan.
This is your public radio, created and sustained with your ideas, your participation, and your support. Chicago Public Radio’s future is the sound of Chicago’s future.
