As part of our series Chicago Matters: Beyond Burnham we're profiling visionaries with an eye on our region's future.  Rami Nashashibi founded the Inner City Muslim Action Network, or IMAN. IMAN is one of a handful of inter-faith coalitions that present religious beliefs as a springboard for community action. Nashashibi believes Islam might provide a way to address social ills ranging from poor housing to gang violence.
